“You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.”

Sometimes I feel like I’m living in a nervous life. I get so nervous to do little things. Talking to new people scare me. I feel like I’m just going to embarrass myself and melt into a puddle of embarrassment. And this quote is talking about just do the things that make you scared and nervous, that gives you butterflies on you stomach cause after a few seconds you see that’s probably not that bad. And if it is you get to say you did it.

This window is so interesting to me because it so color are very vibrant. It’s simple and very eye catching.

The Roaring Twenties

Women wanted to be small and thin. They wanted smaller breast  and a straight figure. They started to show off their legs during the 1920s. Their dresses would be sleeveless and nothing higher than the knees. The dresses would be baggy so that their cruves would be hiden. They would wear very bright colors with fringers and beading.   The hair style was bobbed hair-cut with curled at the forward towards the ear and spilt through the middle.

This was the time that families would be able to buy a car. Cars were becoming more efficient and safer for people to drive. Roads were being changed so that cars can drive smoothly. Cars were changing people’s lifes they were now able to travel as they please.

The 1920s interior was very glamourouse. The style would have a lot of shiny fabrics, mirror tiles and chrome. There would be a lot of geometric and angualar shapes.. interior_view_of_22el_alisal22_the_home_of_charles_f-_lummis_ca-1920-1929_chs-1426

“Nobody ever listens to a teenager. Everybody thinks you should be happy just because you’re young. They don’t see the wars that we fight every single day. And one day, my war will end. And I won’t die. And I will not tolerate abuse from anyone. I am strong.” – Freedom Writers

I feel like a lot of teens relate to this. A lot of people don’t really listen to teenagers because they feel like teens should be having the time of their life cause they don’t have a lot of things to worry about. But people don’t understand that there is so much pressure put on us, at school and home. Teens are also so considered young adults but I don’t think some people consider that teens sometime just need someone to listen to their problems, to listen to what they are going through cause some people feel like it’s not a big deal, that it will just pass. They are probably right that it will pass and it isn’t a big deal but to just be able to let it out is nice. People don’t really let teens speak and when they do they see that we do have something to say, that we have gone through things and we are fighting our own battles. We’re teenagers we don’t know the road ahead of us, I don’t think anyone does but us teens are learning how to get through life and learning where do we want to take our life.

The people who you drive would be very adventurous because they would have to be out in every kind weather and they would be unprotected. For entertaining guess would be upstair with the host talking, hanging out while the servant would preparing dinner in the basement.

My First Blog

I really like this window display, it’s very simple and still catches your attention. I love how the images on the television get lighter as you look down. The two mannequins on the right were a good touch so there to get rid of negative space, same with the bag and the shoes. Also having the mannequin was a good touch so that the display it is balanced out with the two mannequins. Overall I do like this display for it’s simplicity.
